Any time South Australian hard charger Daniel Pestka shows up you know he’s a chance to cause an upset and together he and ride or die James Stark are planning just such a situation in the 24/25 Sprintcar Speedweek.

The pair are prepping the ABSS – Moreland Holdings #27 off the back of a speedy 23/24 where amongst other results they ran second in the Easter Trail points (including a round win) and also took out the SA Pro Sprint Championship at Borderline.

Pestka is vastly experienced at the Speedweek venues and is never intimidated by the standard of competition.

He’s been one of the standout SA gassers for well over a decade and the #27 car will be set to thrill come December 26 for the Speedweek opener at Daniel’s home track Murray Bridge.

Anyone writing Pestka off has clearly not been paying attention to the crafty former dirt kart champion who made a seamless transition to Sprintcars some fifteen years ago and has never looked back.
