Mount Gambier’s “Glen 20” will be bringing plenty for the 2024/2025 Sprintcar Speedweek.

The gentle giant of Sprintcars has a proud history of his family’s involvement in the sport for over 50 years.

Glen Sutherland is still as passionate as he ever was about wheeling the GEM Group #20 Maxim and after a stout performance in the NT at the Chariots of Thunder spectacular Glen comes into Speedweek armed with speed, confidence and a typically sweet looking hot rod.

The Sutherland family have been deeply interwoven into the fabric of Australian, South Australian and even more so Mount Gambier Speedway and business through Gambier Earth Movers where they have supported so many facets of industry and sport.

Glen is a consistent and committed racer who is extremely popular amongst his peers – a win for Glen at any of the rounds would be a hugely popular result.

There’s no doubt he has the resources and the commitment to achieve that goal – he just needs to break through.

Watch out for “Glen 20” during Sprintcar Speedweek at these venues and dates:

December 26: Murray Bridge Speedway

December 27: Tolmer Speedway

December 28: Borderline Speedway

December 30: Avalon Raceway

January 1: Premier Speedway
