South Australian Brendan Quinn has been in great form in recent weeks, and he will be hoping to carry his recent strong results into the Clay-Per-View Sprintcar Speedweek. His last two starts behind the wheel have produced two podium results, including an A-main win, but they have been utilising a 360ci powerplant, but Brendan is hopeful that his form will transfer into 410ci competition.
“Nothing beats the opportunity to race five times in a week. I am hoping to build some momentum in the 410 with back-to-back races” added Brendan in an enthusiastic manner.
Quinn is in fact a former South Australian 360ci Sprintcar Champion and over the past couple of years he has managed to capture some big 360ci event wins, including the Allstar Challenge at Simpson and another victory in early December at the Timmis Speedway.
In his two 410ci starts this season, both at Murray Bridge, Quinn has a best result of sixth in the season opening Battle of the Bridge.
Quinn is a regular competitor on the Speedweek trail and although he may not be expected to be racing upfront on a regular basis do not be surprised if he makes the A-Main line-up more often than not, especially on his home tracks.
