Chad Ely, who will pilot the Perrett Family Racing (PFR) Triple X, is the first South Australian competitor confirmed to contest all five nights of the 2023/24 Clay-per-view Sprintcar Speedweek. Ely’s commitment to the series is no surprise as already this season the team has been seen at events in four Australian states having started their campaign in Darwin before contesting races in their home state along with SRA events in New South Wales and Victoria.
Prior to Ely’s commitment as a full-time competitor for the Clay-per-view Sprintcar Speedweek he had been on the podium in three of his last four starts, including a runner-up finish at the Moama Raceway and a pair of third placings at Whyalla and Warrnambool. Therefore, going into the busy Christmas racing schedule, the former Australian 360ci Sprintcar Champion will roll into the pit area at Murray Bridge on Boxing Day in the best form of his 410ci Sprintcar career.
“Yeah, we are definitely hitting the road and we are committed to all the rounds. We can’t wait, the team have come together so well and the work we’re putting is definitely paying off. Speedweek is an awesome event with the best drivers over five shows so it should produce some amazing racing” added former racer and PFR Crew Member Michael Miller.
Chad Ely is the third driver full time driver confirmed for the five-night Clay-per-view Sprintcar Speedweek, joining Jessie Attard and Texan Chase Randall.
